Frost Bank Center to Host Inaugural Foundry Classic Featuring Duke and North Texas

Women’s basketball matchup set for November 8 in San Antonio; tickets go on sale Friday, October 9

SAN ANTONIO, TX | October 9, 2026 – Frost Bank Center will host the inaugural Foundry Classic, featuring the Duke University Blue Devils and the University of North Texas Mean Green on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. CT (2:00 p.m. ET). The matchup will be televised nationally on ESPNU.

Owned by Barlow Legacy Enterprises (BLE), The Foundry Classic brings two NCAA Division I women’s basketball programs to one of San Antonio’s premier sports and entertainment venues for an exciting early-season matchup.

The game will also provide a homecoming moment for three players with San Antonio ties: Duke’s Arianna Roberson and Bella Flemings, and North Texas’ Kalysta Martin. Their return adds a meaningful local connection to an already compelling matchup and gives San Antonio fans an opportunity to welcome three accomplished collegiate athletes back to their hometown.

Duke enters the 2026–27 season following an ACC Championship campaign, while North Texas looks to build on its 19–14 season competing in the American Conference.

“The Foundry Classic represents the kind of experience we envisioned when we began building this property,” said Keydrick Barlow, Founder & Principal of Barlow Legacy Enterprises. “Bringing Duke and North Texas together at Frost Bank Center gives us an outstanding matchup on a national stage. The return of Roberson, Flemings, and Martin makes the event even more special for San Antonio. Our focus is on delivering an exceptional experience for the programs, their fans, and the city.”
