Google Analytics
The Foundry uses Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use this website. Google acts as a data processor and may store and process this information on servers outside your country.
What analytics cookies do
When you allow analytics cookies, Google Analytics sets cookies that help us recognise a repeat visit so that one person browsing several pages is not counted as several people. We use this to see which pages are useful, how visitors move through the site, and where something is not working.
What we record
Pages viewed, which buttons and links are used, how far down a page you scroll, whether the homepage film is played, whether a form was started, submitted and completed, and when a ticket or travel purchase link is opened.
We do not send your name, email address, phone number, postal address or anything you type into a form to Google. The site is built so that analytics events can carry only a fixed list of values — a button’s label, a page path, which form was used — and any value resembling an email address or phone number is removed before it is sent.
Your choices
Analytics cookies are off until you allow them. When you first visit you can choose Accept All, which allows analytics cookies, or Essential Only, which does not. Essential cookies are always on: they are what make pages load and forms submit, and the site cannot work without them.
Advertising cookies are off, and The Foundry runs no advertising or remarketing tags today.
Changing your mind
Your choice is stored in your own browser and is not shared with anyone. You can change it at any time — open here or from the link in the footer of every page. Clearing your browser storage also clears the choice, and you will be asked again.
